Nick Russell

Nick has been the tax principal at Pattinsons Accountancy Limited for over ten years.

Nick has worked within the accountancy profession and specialised in taxation for 25 years, spending some 15 years with top tier firms and advising clients on a wide range of issues from both a personal and business perspective.

He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of taxation including Personal Tax, Employee Emoluments, Business Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trust and Will Planning which makes him ideally suited to provide workable strategies to mitigate the tax burden, create and retain family wealth.

He is routinely involved in giving general business and taxation advice, developing structures and strategies to enable owner managers meet their business, personal and family goals and gains a great deal of satisfaction in seeing his ideas implemented and client goals achieved.

Nick heads the tax team at Pattinsons delivering bespoke tax advice as well as helping clients meet their tax compliance needs and the operation of a payroll bureau for clients with a single employee to larger clients with in excess of 50 staff.

Nick is married with three children and lives locally.

Johanna Cole

Johanna qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1984 and has been a client manager with other local firms as well as running her own practice before joining Pattinsons in 2006. Johanna has had extensive experience of accounts preparation and auditing in a wide range of business sectors and has been helping clients in the Nuneaton area achieve their business goals and compliance requirements for many years.

Johanna is involved in voluntary work with a number of local organizations and lives with her husband and two children locally.

Dawn Brownsword

Dawn has been in the accountancy profession with local firms for thirty years since graduating in Business Studies and has had client manager responsibilities for the majority of those. Dawn provides a pro-active service to owner managed businesses, working with them to ensure all aspects of their accounting requirements are met. Dawn has a practical approach to compliance and planning matters and enjoys the variety of assignment that working in general practice inevitably brings. Pattinsons were delighted when Dawn brought her experience to the firm in early 2007.

Dawn enjoys a wide variety of social activities and lives locally.

Alan Robinson

Alan has been an integral part of the Pattinsons team for nine years. Senior accountant and auditor, Alan undertakes many fieldwork assignments and his technical accounting expertise ensures limited company clients satisfy their compliance requirements. Having had experience in industry Alan appreciates clients’ practical business issues.

Alan enjoys golf when time allows and lives locally with his family.

Darren Brooks

Darren is a part qualified Chartered Certified Accountant having joined Pattinsons in 2003 D arren provides accounting and audit support and his knowledge of accounting software has proved invaluable to clients. Darren has experience dealing with both the manufacturing and service sectors, and the provision of on site assistance is a major aspect of Darren’s role which he relishes.

An avid sports fan, Darren lives locally with his family.
